Sovereign Aloeric is a Nachtkrapp, or Night Raven. He has the power to soothe bad dreams of children, but by the same oneirological power has influence over their subconscious. Currently, his control over what might be considered Germanic territory is unshakeable because those he leads wouldn’t, ahem, *dream* of rebelling. Night Ravens are of the Dream and the Darkness, but he identifies as Darkness.

He has contacts among the People of the Dream, but gives away little of what they tell him. Aloeric is also a friend of sorts with Kanon, and because of that dislikes Notte - since liking one pretty much means being on the other one's bad side.
