One of Dr. Ranier Blood's patients, Ahaana has the fortune to be part dragon - and a very powerful Kin-dragon mix at that. In "The Bread, The Harp, the Coil of Gold", she is descrived as "a furiously brilliant and terribly frightened young woman, surviving with power she could control but not identify, fearful of her skill with fire and the way she could call it by name." She is married to Justin Aishwarya (bachelor name Kai), and together, they have a daughter. They currently live in Dallas, at the top of a very well-hidden mountain the Ever-Dying can neither see nor touch.
